Have them open the spindle controller cabinet, The display on the VFD should read call or call waiting.
Have them send a job over, does the display change? I need the message.
If not, have them check the cable that runs between the spindle controller and the E-box, if that is seated correctly with no defects then most likely the DUart card went.

Try unplugging and replugging the cable into the top of the spindle first. Sometimes we have to reseat ours for it to fire. Tony's recommendations are spot on if that fails.
