Who knows the best wood for sandblasting. Can anyone suggest two nice kinds of light color wood that kicks *** at sandblasting.

Most people will use 6/4" or 8/4" solid clear heart all vertical grain redwood or western red cedar. We actually hand pick our own, trying to match the grain patterns, so there are no huge differences in grain transition from one or to the next when gluing them together. This is very noticeable after blasting.

Cedar, redwood. We have blasted fir before on some interior signs. I like using Ultra bond glue by Sign Life.
