Save Illi CS5 to CS3

I'm running CS3 and a client is using CS5. I've never used 5 but I would assume that you can save to previous versions of Illi. Is this true? How can it be done? This guy is telling me that it can't be done but I 'm not buying it. Please help.

BTW - did some searches and didn't find any definitive answers.

After you click save as and you name it another dialog box will come up and on the top it says previous versions. That's a drop down box that you can save it to previous versions. Not all of them, but CS3 is one of the versions.

I know this works on CS4 and on CS5.
