SC-545EX Question

It may be a question in general but I have an SC-545EX that I just started having a minor problem with. After loading the vinyl in the machine and going through the normal process, after it measured the vinyl, it would automatically take up the excess vinyl coming out of the front of the machine. Now going through the same process, it doesn't take up the excess vinyl, it just hangs where I leave it. Anyone ever have the problem or know how to get it to take up the excess vinyl? I have looked through the manual before but didn't find anything on it. I will be looking through it again as it has cost me enough in wasted vinyl.

I have a 745ex and there is a sensor at the front of the machine that reads the edge, maybe your sensor is not working? I guess after the printer measures you could track the media back..

This may be obvious to some, but with employees around we have had weirder things happen. Maybe check to be sure when you set it up that the screen says "EDGE" not "ROLL" or something else.

I believe your on to something here. If I remember correctly, it does say roll instead of edge. Hopefully that is all it is.
