scaling in Ilusstrator CS4

I need to scale a bunch of vector files up by 1.005%. Not much experience with the scale tool... I would like to write an action that does the scaling and I'm looking for a place to type in the scaling factor.
Any advice is appreciated!

select object, right click, transform-scale enter percent hit ok

I've had great success posting to the Adobe Illustrator Scripting Forum -- there are some really great script authors on the forum and as long as you show an effort to present your needs coherently they can be a lifesaver.

The only issue I have at this point is getting the scaling to originate from the lower left (0,0) instead of the object's center.
Is Adobe Illustrator Scripting Forum part of Signs101?

When you click on the scale tool, option click where you want it to scale from. You can pick any corner or some random part of the shape
