Scoring cutter for vinyl?

I’m removing a large wrap from an old food truck and with a razor knife score smaller strips to remove it a lot faster and easier with less force pulling.

Is there any tool made for scoring the vinyl but not going deep enough to cut into the metal on the truck? Would be nice to have one for future work.

There is a tool by Olfa that has a small blade, and it extends out just enough to cut the liner on the back of vinyl, but not the the vinyl. It might work. https://olfa.com/professional/product/top-sheet-cutter-ts-1/

I've used the TS-1 to score vinyl and not the backer. I've used it on windows too, but never auto paint.
