Hello, I'm looking to buy one of these possibly ( Seal 65 EL) and I print vehicle wraps, signs etc.. In all the specs I see I cant figure out if it will laminate large rolls or you just feed sheets in.. I don't really want to use the little " material trough" . I just want it to load from the bottom material roll holder and feed into the top.. sort of like this image I'm posting..That's what I'm familiar with.. Is that possible? Just need info before I buy. Thanks ! ( Image below of how I'm use to doing it)

The table lifts up to load directly into the pressure rollers from the feed roller below but the EL has no option for a take up. You have to move up to the 54 or 62 Base to get that.

That’s right. Buy the Chinese laminator instead of the American made one.
Better yet, buy a Kala.

You can rolls of material on this laminator, but it does not have a takeup. It is a good machine, but the EL stands for Entry Level and it could be a machine you would outgrow in short order.

If you are looking for a good used laminator, I have a customer with a Seal 600 D that is in perfect shape. I like this machine more because you can adjust the nip if the machine pulls one way or another. It would be a better way to spend your money. Feel free to give me a call if you want me to introduce you to this guy and I can tell you what to look for in a used laminator....

I have an EL, and the damn thing hasn't pulled a straight roll of overlaminate since it came to me. Had a rep come and look at it and was satisfied with only 7 feet before veering off. I'm not paying Bell & Howe $400 just to come out and then $250/hr to work on this p.o.s. As Ssignature stated, "Buy a Kala." I have one at my daily grind (Kala Mystral 1650) and have to say that that damn machine works like a charm. Only way it runs off course is simply human error.
