Second hand VP-300

Hey All,

If someone could help me out on the below, it would be much appreciated

I've been making small decals on the side with a cheaper plotter ( has served me well and had no issues with it ) for the last year or so and have come across a potential buy.

Rolland VP-300.
It has NOT been ran for over 6 months and has a power supply issue ( does not turn on ) other than that the seller claims it was in perfect working order since it died,

Keep in mind i live in Australia, and with the small amount of research cannot really find part locally, although i am pretty tech savvy, what would the cost if i had to replace power supply and have it cleaned out etc...

Run Away !

If it has been sitting for six months, the heads are (best case) clogged or worst case wrecked ($3,500 or so).

Also, it doesn't run.

Also, it is a discontinued model.

But if you want to tinker, maybe 100 bucks? Or get the owner to pay you to haul it away.

$100, even if the heads are dead and it can't print it would make a great 30" plotter. If it sat that long with no power the heads are toast.

Thanks all for the help, I didn't end up purchasing, will probably go for brand new soon.
