seek failed - Flexi

Sometimes when I try to save a file in Flexi, I get a "seek failed" message and it won't save. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm no expert, but I think a "seek failed" thing is a hard drive problem.
I suggest you back up your important files right now before it's too late.

This is not necessarily a HDD problem.

It could be a software incompatibility issue.

What OS are you using? 32 or 64 BIt?

What version of Flexi?

We are having the same exact problem in 8.6. When we load up 8.2 - no problem. The new flexi has me pulling my hair out....

We also have this problem. It is only on very large files and the only work around I have found is to save it as an eps file. This kinda sukks cause you loose all your fonts and can't just change text anymore.
We run latest version of 8.6 on XP64, 2-300mb velocaraptor 10000rpm hard drives in raid 0 , 8gb of ram.

Im running 8.6v1 and im getting the same problem on large files .I noticed the issue after upgrading to 8.6v2 then down grading back to 8.6v1.
