I'm fairly certain that is a freehand font of the signpainters own style. You might be able to find a similar font that is a gothic stroke with a spur serif like that one. It looks to be the real done with hand spun gold and not "signgold" I could be wrong though. Does it look like vinyl when you looked at it?

lol! yep, black shirts are the daily norm...you guys don't miss a thing!

as far as i can tell, it's sign gold small engine turn outlined with black with a layer of lamination over it.

edit: the R in alphdog is closer, but it's still not an exact match....sorry i can't do any better
