Has anyone experienced inconsistent colour across the printing width. Particularly with light solid colours and grays. The appearance can be blotchy, tiger stripes or just random patterns.
I have two machines and both display the same issue. Some medias are worse than others. Reducing the rear and print heater makes slight improvements.
The issue appears to be due to inconsistent temperature across the machine resulting in varying dot gain which ultimately varies the colour. This plays havoc when Recalibrating and and trying to maintain consistent colour day to day.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions and can recommend any medias that are stable.
