serial cable

Hello everyone. I'm in need of a serial cable for my cutter. I went to OfficeMax and got one but it don't work. anyone know of a place to get one that will be compatible for cutters? I don't have time to wait for shipping! Please Help!

I think they have to be RS-232 (just pullin it out my brain, not sure...)

What plotter also are you using? Most use a normal serial cable, but the Anagraph for example uses a special cable with the first and last pin switched in the cable and will not work with a normal serial cable.

What you probably need is a NULL MODEM cable..........it has a few pin switched from a regular serial cable..........If you have a Graphtec I know you need this one.......
