Serialing / Badging in X3

Im wondering if there is a easy way of doing Serial # or badging in X3

i know you can do it the hard way with the XL spreadsheets but im still a little confused as to how to make that work properly.

I also heard its possible to do it directly from my printer RIP - Versaworks.

Any idea on how to do it in either X3 or Versaworks would save me a lot of work.

Corel forums have scads of info as that is a common question.

Just search "consecutive numbers."

Supposedly Sign Tools makes that easy. I can't attest to that.

i dont know if its the same in X3 but i do it in corel 11 with print merge and imposition layout. we also have a vb macro called nametagcreator and serial namer that work well.
