Bought a New computer and installed flexi on it. So far the only thing Ive done with the new computer is print black decals. Now im trying to print something in color and the colors just don't seem right. I cant remember what my Color Correction settings were set to on the old computer before it took a crap. Just curious what everyone elses settings are. Thanks

How in the ;$/! Is this "unanswerable". There's one setting with color correction dealing with the different types of images. No color correction, realative, perceptual, etc. so please explain how your reply is even logical. Thanks.

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

You would be referring to 'rendering intent' which is most likely where your problem is. Set the rendering intent for everything except bitmaps to 'No Color Correction', set bitmaps to 'Perceptual'. See if that doesn't make life a little better.

The other rendering intent possibilities, like relative and absolute colormetric specifically, pretty much are the sole province of the excessively anal color arrogancia. Those who appear to take some small pleasure in working harder than they have to. Regular folk manage somehow to muddle through with just the settings mentioned above.

When I move Flexi to a new computer, I will save my color management settings with presets out of the production manager. If you still have the old one, this could be a solution.

Of course switching off color management is a solution. But who knows what colour management does, who knows what a rendering intent is will not say "switch it off" overall.

The training videos that come with 8.5 recommend perceptual for bitmaps and relative colorimetric for vector, text and gradient, so that's what I've always set them to.

Thanks for the replies guys, unfortunately the old computer is shot so I can't go to it to look at what they were set at, I'll check the setting tomorrow.
