Sheriff paid Mosh a visit

My brother's mother's ex-husband's cousin (my dad's cousin) came out to my place to shoot his gun last week. So we set up these 1" thick plates at 200 yards and shot away....at $7 a shot (50 cal). Well some bullet fragemts ended up 2 1/2 miles away in a guy's driveway so the sheriff tracked down that they came from my farm. We were even shooting into a bank, not thinking they would go 90 degrees for 2 plus miles.

from now on 30 cal and under....I will get my kid to post up a vid of us shooting that 50, it is un-real. Like I said $7 a shot...he is making $60 an hour rebuilding the river levee so he has cash to burn.....they are going 50-70 hours a week...Scheel's is getting it all...he is 10 times the gun nut I am.

So, if he takes 8 shots an hour for $56 that leave $4 left for beer. Lets work it down from there. 7 shots an hour for $11 for beer.... 6 shots an hour for $18 in beer which sounds about right so he can take 1 shot every 10 minutes and drink 18-30 beers per hour and not loose any money!

Mosh, are you overpaying for your ammo? Seems you can get quality ammo for $4-5 a round even in small quantities. I know you live in the sticks and all but you don't strike me as one to overpay.

What's so special about your ammo? Is it because it travels right angles or what?

I thought Mosh shopped at Walmart for all his guns and ammo needs.
I'll bet they have some Western Family 50 cal that you can purchase by the case lot.
Save Money, Live better. (unless you are a woodland creature on Mosh's land).

Me too. I used to belong to an EOD Company (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and we would use the 50 Cal as a detonation tool. It was a blast to shoot.

I can't justify a 50 Cal, but my 308 (AR-10) is fun

Not so much.
It can explode in a fire.
But not always
I think I saw on mythbusters ,they heated bullets,they will go off.
But not like in the movies.
