Shop PC set up and Program Suggestions.

My shop is entering the digital printing world and my boss wants to buy a production computer, nothing crazy just very basic. His idea is since we are very limited in space cause of our SC-540 is to use a net book as theproduction computer. Only thing that would be on there would be VersaWorks and Flexi Starter.

I am not totally convinced that this is the best solution.

Our other alternative is upgrading to Flexi Pro and just using one computer. But as we all know this is an expensive upgrade. I like this idea because I am the designer and do the production in the shop.

Any feedback on this would be great. Thanks everybody!

Thats what I figured Im trying to get my boss to realized even the most diesel of netbooks wont work.

Give Signburst PCs a call he is a merchant member and sets up systems exclusively for the sign industry. Would be money well spent IMHO to get a pro to set your one computer up right.

Netbooks are for web surfing not much else.
