I just found this list of tips for sign making and business tips as well.

There are quite a few great tips on handling small vinyl lettering which will help me directly.

My favorite is the one about having a light box to help in weeding. Recently I had to weed a lot of white vinyl and thanks to the white backing it was almost impossible for me to see some of the cut lines. A light box would have surely made this easier by making those cut lines stand out.

That's why I like using Oracal vinyl. They put their white vinyl on a blue backing paper, makes it easier to see.
