Thanks for posting that John. It looks to me like any metals we use should be steel and not aluminum? (I am soooo not an installer - sorry for my ignorance!) I have a really good fabricator, so definitely will discuss with him.
I think we are going to try to use molded acrylic and avoid as much metal as possible in the base construction... (thanks Dan Striker for the suggestions!) still working on this project trying to find a good balance between longevity and price.
