When you said pictures of dates I thought you were talking the women he dates.

I got an idea...... I will do two on canvas but as computer generated art (got to take some time to think about how to design it...) and if someone has a million to bid on it, I will put a second one on Ebay and see what it goes for.... we can split the profits..... we'll be rich..... what would the ebay charges be..... hmmmmm....

High end, known art actually holds value better than just about anything else. Most purchases of that level are investment purchases. And even if they weren't, it's no different from buying a Ferrari (though which also tend to hold value...).

Trying to stay out of the thread as talking art with citizens is frustrating but fixating on the price without understanding the market is naive and pointless. Great, you won't pay it...but someone did, thereby making it worth that much. That's how monetary systems work.
