Sign Production and Installation Manager wanted in Austin, TX

AlphaGraphics of North Austin is looking for a Sign Production and Installation Manager to lead our fast paced growth in signs. Our business is one of the top 10% of all AlphaGraphics businesses in the nation and we thrive in a fast paced environment. We help businesses and non-profit organizations with innovative signage, vehicle graphics, window, wall and floor graphics, banners and trade show graphics in addition to helping them with printing, direct marketing and graphic design. AlphaGraphics North Austin is part of a three center group in central Texas that are locally owned and operated. We have a climate controlled indoor vehicle wrap installation bay, state-of-the-art equipment including a Zund and tons of other sign equipment.

You will be responsible for the production and installation of signs and vehicle graphics. This includes helping our sales team quote and source various sign projects. This is a player/coach role where you will lead an internal and external team of associates and will personally do some of the sign production and installation work. The ideal candidate is a results oriented team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best.

Other Responsibilities:
· Schedules production and installation daily
· Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production
· Maintains sign pricing in our production systems
· Supervises the production and installation of signs
· Ensures production and installation is completed on time and with high quality
· Manages the inventory purchasing and storage process
· Completes sign production and installation, when needed
· Trains employees on equipment, equipment maintenance, tools and efficiency-building methods
· Co-leads the entire production team with the Print Production Manager

Skills and Experience:
· At least 2 years of sign production and installation experience
· Ability to logically solve problems with limited supervision
· Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
· Must drive their own vehicle with a valid driver’s license and state-mandated auto insurance
