It's been awhile since I've seen anyone comment on the font collection developed by our own SteveC. There is a book often recommended to new people in this trade by Mike Stephens that has a tagline reading "the art of eye appeal". Since acquiring Steve's Signfonts collection, I use them almost exclusively because of the incredible eye appeal of layouts created with them. Mostly based on hand lettered fonts, they evoke the era of sign artistry when brush gods existed whose layouts brought beauty and tons of professionalism to the appearance of business' with their sign creations.
