Job is located in Longview, WA.
We are a 30 year old, 5 person commercial sign shop. We are seeking an individual to fill the position of working manager. The position is full time, permanent work M-F 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The ideal person would have experience in operating signmaking equipment such as roll to roll digital printer, cold laminator, vinyl cutter and various shop equipment common to signmaking.
Such a person would be able to direct others, work well as part of a team, work with clients (in house only), and do it all in a fast paced environment. (no outside sales)
Software-wise, our general purpose layout program is Gerber Omega Composer 4.0 (similar to Illustrator) We also use CorelDraw X5 occasionally. A working familiarity with Photoshop CS is a plus, but not necessary.
This person would be able to order materials from established vendors, have good problem-solving skills as well as communication skills.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Owner is retiring. Pay is $14.00 to $21.00 per hour.
