I would assume that you'd have to enter to win... and that most do not enter.

the fact that Dans promaster designed wrap lost to a tow truck with flames and barbed wire, really gives me no interest to enter... that thing is beyond hideous

Good god, who were the judges. That 1st place sign shop wrap is disgusting.

I think, by far, the worse one.. is the transit wrap #1 winner...

Pretty much why we have never bothered entering..... the winners are never the best of the bunch they show and some are simply just bad design using a bunch of obviously stock "wrap crap" elements.

No one worth their salt enters that crap anymore.

For nearly two decades, I've hardly seen anything the way the judges do...... and what credentials do the judges hold ??

So, if no one is recognized for their work, why waste the time and effort getting into a wrap contest sponsored by someone who sets the rules as to not on your talent, but how much you'll push their software or wares ?? Nothing against 3M, but what about judging on design, content and application ??

I don't know. A lot of the commercial sign stuff that wins is gorgeous, creative stuff. It's just the vehicle graphics winners that I don't understand.

Of course there's no category for "cheap real estate sign I need in two hours" so it's not really any of my concern.

Agrees with Pat W & Colorado

Been seeing these on FB & thought egad the ones you can read & understand get honorable mention while the ones you think is for a private truck take the prize & it is for some business, what are these judges thinking ??

To me a well designed logo & branding & layed out well with good flow & proper image, plus well readable & understanding as it goes by at 50 mph is what wraps should be viewed as.... & that is not easy to get all right.
