That's what I kept running into; I assumed there was just another font that they used that had the correct characters.S is like Fruitiger but C is like avant garde
I don't think so, these are all fairly freshly cut vinyl graphics. The company that provided the samples is switching over to us from their previous supplier and is VERY picky about us matching their equipment graphics exactly, and we keep running into this funny mystery font. Currently, we are scanning and mixing/matching characters from various fonts and distorting other letters to get the job done.Is it a paste-up from back in the day when Linotronic machines were used to set type? Maybe I'm showing my age with that comment.
We can trace it them here just fine, there are just a lot of them and a lot of them have that same type style.If they're that picky about being exact, why not send it off to be traced and not worry about it?
