site spell check?

is there a spell check on the site and if so, can I shut it off. this is the only place online that I use where every letter I enter is second guessed by something and "corrected". it takes for ever to enter just a simple line of copy as I am having to fight with the auto correct to get it to say what I want. I will start to enter a word and it takes a guess and changes what I he all ready put in. every other page I go to is just fine, it only happens here. anyone else have that problem?

There is no spell check that is part of the forum software. Spell checking is usually a browser function.

If you are using Chrome, right click in the text box you are typing in and select "Spell Checker Options". Now select the "Check the spelling of text fields" option and not ask "Google for Suggestions". That should help.
