Slow down print in flexi?

Is there a way to slow down the print in flexi 10.5?? I want to keep it in standard print mode (720x720) but it prints way to fast...I can do it on versaworks down to 250mm per second it I wan to, but I cant find where to do it in flexi??

if you don't have a preset with the different options to increase the passes, go to driver options and you can increase the passes from there. Make sure the other settings don't change.

Not sure what you mean just by slow down. There is no slow down function. If the prints are good why does it matter how fast it prints. In fact the faster the better. If you mean slow down to get it to dry you need to reprofile your machine.

Slow it down ....Where the the print head doesn't go so fast back and forth across the media....I want it to go slower...The reason is ...When I slow it down my printer down in Versworks it prints better and doesn't band or overspray as bad...

I know exactly what you are talking about. I used the same trick on a Roland SP-300V a few years ago using Roland's ColoRip software and it worked great. I don't think Flexi gives you that option. You can try printing unidirectional instead of bidirectional. In the Driver Options window in Flexi, you can try increasing the Interval Time thus making the print head pause before moving again. You can also try 1440 X 1440 dpi printing. That's a pain because it's so slow, but it might help. In the service menu of your printer, there might be a way to slow down the carriage, but I doubt it. And, be sure the head is in the low position.
