Smoothing Curves

Is there a way to automatically smooth out the curves in this picture without having to use the "Optimize by Curve" manually?

I don't think so - have to edit the nodes, and Optimize by Curves is easier than adding or moving individual nodes.

If you have a full version of Flexi, try playing with Bezier, this will convert the image to vector and make it easier to clean up - also try enhanced corners and enhanced curves.
