to my accomodations, and spot this vehicle two doors down.

Funny how something like this grabs you. (see cover of SignCraft mag Jan/Feb. 2012)

It's one of Dan Antonelli's designs, and the magazine was last thing I had read before leaving for some golf and relaxation in Rancho Mirage, California.

Just had to snap the photo.

Golf was great. Played some really nice courses like Indian Wells.

Even got to shake the former President's hand. Bill Clinton was in the Humana Challenge in a group of four that included Greg Norman.

When he came by the ropes I stuck my hand out and said "hello Mr. President" and he grabbed it and gave me a shake saying something like, "good to see ya", something like that.

He's lost some weight and looked pretty good.

One of my favorite clients. We flew out to meet them last year. Great guys, who just let you do your job. Also one of my favorite web sites of ours - http://www.timosair.com . We just did a really nice brochure for them too, all retro of course.

A pleasure when you have a client who just lets you run with things. Notice how great everything turns out? Wish they were all like that!

Client attitude makes so much difference! Great to see that you've been able to run with the brand, it deserves to be well managed. It's terrible when a great identity gets slowly destroyed by the entropy of owner carelessness.

That van looks just as good in the field as it did on signcraft, no photoshoot magic there!

Oh my lordy! A heating and cooling company who's logo doesn't consist of red and blue arrows circling eachother!

I am in love.

Edit:
Also, yeah, that's a really slick fleet van.

Thanks guys! Lately it seems like we do more retro work than non-retro. Its a lot of fun for sure though - but equally a lot of work to research and do it right.
Here's a brochure we just did for them.
