Quit buggin' me
I've been in business so long nothing much surprises me any more but this was something new.
Customer brought in 2 graduation banners they had printed in the Philippines - wanted me to fold the edges and replace the grommets.

Those are hand made grommets from what looks like beer/soda cans.
No grip ring on the backside - just pushed through and rolled back to pinch the banner.
Result was not good but I have to admire the effort.

When I visited the Philippines last year, I noticed so many signs for "sign shop" and printing... but I didn't understand seeing how small the entry way was and knowing how tiny it is inside these spaces how these places were legit sign shops! I wish I went in to see but it's probably for the best to not know.

The hand painters though are something else... they're really good!

The Nigerians figured out a better way... They just order "100" banners from random sign shops in the USA and pay nothing.
