Solvex White Static Cling on Roland?!?!?!

I printed on "Roland white cling" using the "Roland" white static cling profile. Everything was fine.

We had to switch over to LexJect wht static cling, and I couldn't get it to print anything other than a big pool of ink.

We then switched to Solvex White static Cling. With bad results again. I've tried reduxcing the carriage speed and playing with the heat & multiple profiles ( WSC, GCVP, PWV ).

Has anyone had any luck with this product on a Roland. Please let me know. Thanks

I'm curious why you had to switch off the Roland product. It has proven quite popular and users seem happy with it. If you had a problem I would like any feedback you have, and I'd like to try and help, but it sounds like it worked well.

The only problem I'm having is that, the "Roland" brand was the only White Static Cling I can get to print well, without have it have to take a minute to print 1 linear inch.

The job cam in in a hurry & we could only get a few rolls in time. Now I've gone through Lexjet & now Solvex white static cling products.

I', told that it's the Roland ink set that is not very versatile. Any ideas?
Our rep. gave us a profile to use for the "Solvex", but it was for a SolJet II & we run a SolJet III. I couldn't get it to load in Versaworks. Any ideas? I am really jammed up now. Let e know.
Thanks

We have a VP-540, and have printed lots of Solvex static cling. We used a generic profile ECVP, and turned the heat down 5 degree on both settings, heat was the issue when we started, but it has printed fine for the last two years for us.

Good luck!
