some links not working...

Can anyone help me with an easy fix for links not working?
Why do some links not work? For instance, in the photo gallery, I can click
on a thumbnail and it will open the small version. But when I click again to
see the larger version it does not work. I can right click and select "copy
shortcut" and paste it in the header, sometimes it works and sometimes it
just pastes the word "javascript". Same thing when Googling a subject. The
search will give me the info but the links don't work without the cut/paste.
Funny thing is, I have two new computers exactly the same setup. This only
happens on one of them. ???

The links include url and img tags so their working correctly is dependent on how their used.

Closely related, the photo gallry software is written by the same people who write our classified ad and product software. None of the three are particularly well written; easy to maintain or troubleshoot; well supported; or intuitive to use. We have them because they have little to no competition in the niche we are in.

Thanks Fred, but that makes little sence to me...

I have to assume that it has something to do with my browser settings,
Internet Explorer 8. Since the links work perfectly on one computer and
not on the other.

I don't have any answer for you except what you've stated. MS has their own ways of dealing with these things. Perhaps someone who works more closely with browser details can supply a better answer.

I have the same problem with Explorer 8 on Windows 7...

I use Firefox instead

Yes, but why on two computers that are exactly the same, one has the
problem and one does not. Not that I am so fond of IE, I just dont want
to install another browser. :frustrated:

It's not a popup blocker, I tried turning it off.

Download Chrome or FireFox, you will be much happier Steve. They are about 5x times faster.
