What's keeping you from doing it by hand?. It's a ridiculously simple single stroke with an overloaded quill.
I should think that people in the sign business should damn well be able to paint a sign. Being able to do so, even if you don't actually do it, implies a number of things. Like you actually know what a letter in a given alphabet looks like and have some insight into the pragmatics of layout and design.
People in this business who cannot hand letter are suspect as merely being scrapbookers on steriods.
