SP-300 question

Discussion in 'Roland' started by Jim Hill, Oct 17, 2012.

  1. My SP-300 has stopped giving me a warning message when an ink cartridge is running low.

I know there are two setting for continue or stop printing and I have it set to stop printing when the ink cartridge is low but for some reason it gives me no warning at all.

When this happens I get cross contamination of colors and it just means I have to connect a syringe and draw the ink thought the dampers and it's just a pain some times to stop and do it.

Any idea how to fix this problem so my SP-300 once again gives me a warning message first?

Jim, are you using OEM Roland EcoSol inks -or- 3rd party plug-n-play inks?
  3. Inks

I only use OEM Roland eco-sol max ink.

This printer has never used after market inks at any time.
