i was getting dirty looking prints...well, after numerous cleaning, i contacted roland and said to replace captops. have them ordered , hope it works? weird thing though is that it mainly happened with 3551 and 3951?

wipers

make sure your wipers are in good shape. When they get old and degrade they can leave small pcs of material on the heads and cause streaking and bad looking prints.

yeah, i replaced those not too long ago, but i've got a tuneup kit coming with captops,wipers, sponge etc...thanks
