sp-300v dropping ink on the print while printing

so this happens every now and then. if i print the same color for a couple mins at a time i will get drops of ink falling on the print. always happens on the big jobs towards the end. i'm assuming it is the scrappers but maybe someone has had this problem before.

i swapped out the scrappers maybe 50-80 hrs ago. couple of months

There is likely a hair or a clump of dust on the printhead, go into cleaning mode and look at the heads with a flashlight. Every time this has happened to me I had a hair on the heads... Remove with tweezers and do the cleaning maintenance.

thanks for your help guys.

the sponge was soaked and had way to much ink in it.

cap tops were a little dirty, cleaned them...

and 1 head had some fibers stuck i the corner just like suggested. i had to grab some tweezers to get it out, very carefully. all is good now.

i think the fibers came from the cap tops???

thanks again

when i was cleaning the cap tops there was fibers sticking up for sure. other then getting in there with scissors and cutting them, they will continue to hit the head. i will try and get a pic because i plan on doing this soon to prevent further issues. caps tops only 2-3 months old
