Which print head is considered to be number 1 when entering ranking numbers is the magenta & yellow?

Absolutely. They want you to use that tool so you don't strip the cheap screws they use in the printer. Just tighten them enough so they are tight but don't overdo it . I have never used that tool to replace SP300 heads and I have replaced a lot of those heads.

Thank you for your great advice.

The reason I asked the question is because I am going to change my first head within the next day or so and while I have the right torque head tools to remove and replace the small screws in the correct order to tighten each one I do not have that few hundred dollar tool used for the correct torque setting.
