sp 300v question

hey all. i have a sp300v and its not printing black, did all the cleaning and replaced cartridge, called roland support, they thot air in line, question is how do i get the air out? they said to use a syringe? i moved machine over weekend it was off for half hour. blue prints great! any help would be great

Take a large syringe - perhaps a 60cc one. Put it to the bottom of the damper and slowly pull the syringe. Ink will start going into the syringe. Just do that until you see the air bubble come out.

When replacing the damper back onto the head, make sure it is only 1/2 full so that you'll have the negative pressure to keep ink from dripping out of your head.
