SP 540i- Cleans During Print Jobs every 5minutes

Hello Everyone
Please help me asap on this problem.
My printer sp540i stops and clean during printing almost every 5mins.
All this started when i changed my cyan in about 3days ago. I have checked periodic cleaning in sub menu and the settings is NONE, so I don't understand this so please help me.
This is really wasting ink and time when printing. Thank you so much in advance for your ideas.

Happy New Year.

I have same machine but never had this problem. When i was reading topics about banding, some one said that there is an option in printer that sets cleaning times while printing. So as phototec stated, resetting it to factory should solve the problem or try to find that option.

Thanks phototec.

I already tried the factory default but same problem.
Let me check on your link and see if i can get any luck from there.

There use to be someone from Roland monitoring theses threads, and I remember seeing a phone number posted one here from someone at Roland.

Anyone know that person or have that phone number?

Do you use genuine Roland ink carts? Have heard about 3rd party ink carts causing this. Hope you get it solved!

Doing a Google search I found a phone number for Roland Tech Support, I haven't tried it:

864-905-6725

Let us know when you get it fixed and what the fix was?

I would guess that this is the case. Use on 3rd-party ink will cause increased cleaning cycles and more waste ink as a result.
