SP-540V not tracking straight on contour cut?

I've began having a problem with my 540 not tracking straight after printing/laminating. It will move anywhere from a 1/4"-1/2" side to side..
I've replaced the outer rollers and changed nothing.. Anyone had this problem..

is the media actually moving? or is it the same outed-ness the entire job? i usually see this from the encoder strip causing the print to shift that amount, but the cut is exactly where it should be, causing the mismatch.

The media is moving that much, its moves differently everytime, , yesterday i cut a 5' rectangle, The front was correct and looking at the machnie the left side cut moved about 1/16-1/8", the back was correct and as it started up the right side it moved anywhere from 1/4" -1/2" over at an angle...
I just had an encoder strip put in a 10 days ago..

I had that problem with my printer SP 540 for about a year, I ended up changing the servo board and the encoded eye, it has done perfect with contour cuts and prints after that.

Just curious...are you using matte or gloss laminate? This shouldn't make a difference if it is truly just tracking incorrectly but it may have an effect on cut accuracy on long runs. Gloss laminate can often be problematic when cutting but there are workarounds to make it work.
