sp 540v?

i stumbled across a sp 540v for sale locally. in good working condition. what would be a good price? and is these machines still worth buying?

I make money with mine everyday. Not too sure what a used rig would go for though. If I were to guess maybe around 5 grand..?

Only way i would touch that is if it was $400. I'd strip all the good parts for spares then recycle the rest.

yep. 'good working condition' isn't verifiable without being able to print anything.

If he's so confident that it works, why not have him buy the ink to show it works.
If it works, you pay him the extra for the ink. You would have to buy it anyway

I had EXACTLY same idea. And you will know right away if he is telling you the truth. If he will not agree, there is something wrong for sure.
