Sp300 no cyan or magenta

On a test no magenta or cyan printed, I talked to Roland and they said I need a tech, I called one guy who told me maybe it needs a tuneup, cost about 525.00, plus if anything else is wrong that would be extra, guy said it could be heADS or fuses. Anyone know an Independent Tech in Chicago area??
How do you test for heads and or fuses??
Is there a service manual for this machine?
As quiet as business is right now I have to watch every dime.
What is involved in a tune up?'
Is this something for DIY?

Thanks in advance

Do not think it can be fuses... If the fuses were bad, the entire head would not fire.

Based on your information, I would change the captops, wipers and dampers.

Total parts cost estimated at $200 + or -

If you have not worked on the unit before, a tech would be recommended.

If you are handy with a screwdriver, you could change all of them yourself, while being VERY careful when changing the dampers. Possibility for ink drip/spray or breaking of the printhead manifold.

I have the parts in stock if you need them. Feel free to call, email or PM if you would like to order and need help.
