SP300 printhead swap?

Hi,

I'm really struggling with our printhead problem. We've got overspray around the image that we cant clear with cleaning, flushing or changing print speed or changing to unidirectional print.

We've got a spare printhead but i cant get an engineer till the middle of next week. Would i get away with swapping the printhead out without being able to access the service menu? I dont have the key combination to enter the service menu and I see from the manual there's a few things that should be done. I'm cautious that I'll make our problem worse.

You probably need to change your dampers. Clogged dampers restrict the ink flow. If this happens you won't get enough ink pressure to force the ink out in a straight way - meaning you will get deflected nozzles.
