I recently changed my wipers and now the belt slips when it moves the wipers. When it hits the clear peice of plastic that hangs down it stops for a second as the belt slips. I tried another set of wipers but it didnt change.
Any suggestions?

I had this problem once when I used non-oem wipers. They seemed to be too tall and got held up on the large scraper. Are yours roland brand? You can also make sure they are seated properly in the holder and not sticking up too far. John

My first set was not. Then I tried oem and still had the problem. I think that they are seated properly although there is a small cutout in one of the lower corners and I'm not sure witch way that go's. It dosnt seem to make a difference.......?

We experimented with 3rd party wipers for the Rolands and couldn't find any that were soft enough to make it past the wiper scraper without jamming the system. We were able to cut them down but then they were too short to reach the head. We now only sell OEM wipers for Rolands for that reason.

If your wipers are Roland, one side should have a fabric glued to it. The fabric goes to the back.

OK, even the second set did not have any fabric on them. I got the from my Roland dealer too! I guess I will have to find them somewhere else.....

I just go a new set from Roland for wiping the DX4 heads. They have some sort of material on the back.
