sp300v head replacement, WHAT'S PET Film?

We are about to replace the head in our sp300v, and I have the service manual to guide me through, but we came across a section for aligning the head and it references using "PET FILM" in the process...... what is this???

Also, has anyone else done this themselves and have any advice or things to watch out for???? Thanks in advance.

your normal print vinyl is correct for setting up, if you have elec mechanical knowledge its not difficult more time going through the set ups than fitting. else go very very carefully

PETG Film

PETG Film is a standard media for calibrating Rolands, but you can use standard vinyl too. The PETG isn't for Eco-Sol, but it works nicely for calibrations because it prints very clearly.
