SP300V pump problem

Hi everyone. Went to clean the printer today and saw magenta ink everywere inside. I traced it back to the pump. I see roland has a new pump out for $139 but saw pumps on ebay for only $50 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180395623326 and was wondering if this will work fine. Im also runing the eco-sol max inks. Hope the ebay pump will work since I prematurly ordered it without thinking since I was in a panic. Im greatfull for any info and advice.

Pumps

The original roland pumps were a problem so Roland upgraded all the units in the field at no charge. See if your dealer can do it for you. If you do order one of the new pumps I recall there was a upgrade kit needed. The ebay pump will work but get the new one, they work well.

The new style pumps are MUCH better. You will need tech support to change the BIT settings, but you can do the installation by yourself (with instructions that are not included with the pump and required pump kit). Buy the new stylepump and don't waste your time or money on the old style. If you would like assistance give me a call...Sam
