sp540v starts to print off the sheet

sp540v starts printing fine but after about a foot it starts to wonder off the edge of the sheet. The material is feeding straight not sure what to do?

Try these in order of ease of operation and cost.

1. Clean your encoder strip
2. clean the module that reads the strip
3. replace or flip the encoder strip over
4. replace the encoder module
