Spoil Board ?? Switch from LDF to PVC

I was at a customers shop yesterday and they have a Gerber with a PVC top with Vacuum hold down. We have had our Multicam 80x120 for years and had always used LDF and it works fine. I am wondering if I made a PVC top and machined the hole and sockets how well it would work in comparison.

i dont know how it will work in comparison but i have always used scratched/dirty otherwise unsellable sheets of pvc for my sacrifice sheets and the majority of my clients use the same thing. some suppliers will save the sheets for you and give them to you but i've never paid more than a couple bucks...
