This is my luck: Somehow, I decided not to go with ASI or the other promotional items and now I've got calls for them all the time. Anybody know any companies that print on stainless cups that are made in america?

Cordova Outdoors makes stainless steel thermal cups in Idaho and will laser engrave them and UV print them. They are expensive compared to the made in China ones, so prepare your customer.

thanks, I'll check into them. They gave me a budget and when she came in she said she really didn't care about made in america. So, I'll see what I can find.

This is the issue, people will go on about supporting local, buying american/Canadian, but what they really mean is "I'll buy local as long as it costs the same as buying from overseas".

People complain that they don't make anything here anymore, but these same people shop at Walmart and won't pay $60 for an American made stainless steel coffee mug when there is a Chinese one for $20. The only way to achieve this would be to pay American workers the same as Chinese workers.

Yea, when I googled it originally before I asked here, I saw that it requires a huge labor force and it leaks out a bunch of contaminants in the water. But, we americans have to have them.

I dont agree. Customs had existed since centuries for something. Without customs, big firms will be more rich selling their "iPhones" there while destroying locally every small-medium and lately those big firms too.

Workers dont have to be payed like chinese, work like chinese and pollute everything like them. Chinese firms has to pay the differences in customs. Thats all.
