3G you would have a contract with a company and can get 3G where ever that company offers it (for example most smart phones run on 3G networks).

Wifi is just plain old wifi, wireless internet at your home or office or where ever you can find a wifi hot spot.

Notice the major differences in the two:

  • 512 MB vs. 256 MB RAM on the one you posted
  • 10 inch screen vs. 8 inch
  • 1 GHz Clock speed vs. 800 MHz
  • 1024x600 Screen Res. vs. 800x600
  • 3 hour battery life vs. 1-2 hour.
  • 8 GB HDD vs. 2 GB on the one you posted

And looking at the specs now...they BOTH can use 3G!

I'm on Verizon, they offer 3G and 4G and I can add it to a tablet anytime under my same plan.
