I'm back..... Ive been gone for a little bit now full steam ahead......

I have a customer that is requesting a large stencil. 12'x50'...
Wants to put on a rubber wall.

I tested out painters tape and it will not stick.
Vinyl will stick...

So do i charge for a vinyl Stencil?? and how do i price this out???

Thanks in advance...

I'm confused. They want a 'stencil' to use only once on one wall? Are you talking about a paint mask? If so I would charge the same as I would for cut vinyl of the same size, reverse or positive matters not.

you gotta be more specific, rubber wall? like in a gym or like in solitary confinement? a stencil for what? are they gonna paint, trace?

Its gonna be a roof top....

Painters mask will not stick.. I tried...

so it will be vinyl and masked... then tiled together.

We'd charge per square foot for that.

Otherwise I'd project it on the wall and have at with brushes.(50 feet and 50 mile an hour rule applies here)

I'm no sign painter, but picked up some pointers working with one off and on for a couple years.

Just have to cut everything in when its dark.
